Clubzio ("we," "our," or "us") is a company registered in Denmark that operates a sports club management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform, website, and related services (the "Service"). All data is hosted within the European Union (Hetzner, Germany) and governed by Danish law and the GDPR.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Profile Info
Photo, date of birth, position, jersey number, bio
Club Data
Club name, team rosters, membership, admin info

Automatically Collected Data
We collect certain information automatically when you use the Service:
- 1 Device Information — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution

- 4 Approximate Location — Geographic region based on IP address (we do not use GPS tracking)

Information you provide as part of a club (profile, roster details, messages) is visible to other members and administrators of that club as necessary for the Service to function.

Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on Clubzio.
- If we discover that an account has been created by a user under 16, we will promptly delete the account and all associated personal data.

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. All data is stored and processed within the EU unless otherwise noted:
Hetzner
Infrastructure and hosting. All data is stored on servers located in Germany (EU).
Stripe
Payment processing. We do not store full credit card numbers — all payment data is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS.
PostHog
Product analytics. Helps us understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve it.
Sentry
Error tracking and monitoring. Collects technical error data to help us identify and fix issues quickly.
Resend
Transactional email delivery. Used to send account-related emails such as verification, password resets, and notifications.
Expo
Push notification delivery for our mobile apps (iOS and Android). Device tokens are shared with Expo to deliver notifications.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Account deletion: When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymized immediately, except for data we're legally required to retain (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
